There is something about older dogs in general and older Leonberger in particular. I love the old faces, the gray around the muzzle and sometimes over the eyes. The expression is so often soft and soulful - who can resist the begging look of an old dog - mine certainly is being spoiled in his old age. I wish many more Leonberger would reach the age of a veteran - they all deserve long and healthy lives with their families.
